Are you traveling alone? Are you willing to split up your party onto separate ride vehicles?
If your answer to either of these questions is yes, then you should consider taking advantage of Universal Hollywood’s single rider lines. Doing so will split up your party but will reward you with substantially shorter waits. You’ll enter a separate queue with the rest of your party, passing most of the main queue. You’ll then wait near the loading station as team members load “single,” individual guests into spaces left by odd-numbered groups.
Currently, four rides offer single rider queues: Revenge of the Mummy, Transformers: The Ride 3D, Harry Potter & The Forbidden Journey, and Flight of the Hippogriff. All Single Rider lines are clearly marked and located either directly adjacent to the main entrance or just past it. If you can’t find single rider entrance, ask a team member for assistance.
Important Note: Keep in mind that while single rider lines will often be significantly shorter than regular standby queues, this is not a guarantee. Use your best judgment – if you can’t see the loading station from where the actual backup begins, you’ll be waiting at least fifteen to twenty minutes, possibly more.
