Universal offers a public WiFi network for its theme park guests. Join the network UNIVERSAL or xfinitywifi and open any application that accesses the internet to trigger a terms and services page. Click “accept” and enjoy WiFi throughout the park! Note that during days with high attendance, the WiFi network will sometimes become overwhelmed, run slowly, and/or kick off users. Cell reception is particularly poor in the Lower Lot, the Mummy queue, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter so plan accordingly.

Universal has recently introduced a brand new mobile app, which guests can access wait times, show times, GPS maps, and CityWalk. At times, the park sends push notifications to your phone through the app reminding guests about upcoming show times, and sometimes the opportunity for front of line access to a designated attraction of their choice.
